Luxury Holiday Rental (self-catering) Accommodation in Blackheath - Heart of the Upper Blue Mountains.  Relax and unwind in the warmth, comfort and elegance of this beautiful country home.  Built in the late 1890's as a summer retreat for the Bishop of Bendigo, this beautiful country house, as featured in the magazine 'Country Style', is centrally located within 5 minutes walking distance of Blackheath township.   Heatherton boasts five bedrooms, a lounge room (with a combustion fire place and a magnificent three arched picture window), two bathrooms, a northern glassed conservatory and a gorgeous country style farmhouse kitchen and dining room.  The interiors, characterised by French doors and high ceilings, are decorated in a French provincial style.  There are garden vistas from all rooms.  Heatherton is hidden from the street by a large enchanting garden featuring picturesque trees, rhododendrons, azaleas, agapanthus, stone walls, a potager crammed with David Austin roses and a hedged enclosed herb garden.  Heatherton is an oasis of privacy, with many secret corners to explore and enjoy, perfect for a picnic or whiling away the hours with a good book.  It is secluded enough for a romantic getaway, but large enough for a family (or two) holiday or just a group of good friends.  Heatherton is only 105 minutes by car or 2 hours by country train from the centre of Sydney.  Visit the Heatherton House website for more information and photo tour at www.heathertonhouse.com.au

Bedroom 2 - Antique Room - Queen bed, bedside tables, lamp and wardrobe with french doors leading into sunroom with 2 seater lounge.

Bedroom 3 - Ladies Room - Queen bed, bedside tables, lamp and wardrobe.

Bedroom 4 - Rose Room - Two Single beds, bedside table, lamps and small wardrobe.

Bedroom 5 - Blue Room - Two Single beds, bedside lamp, wardrobe, dressing table that looks out into the rear

Linen:

LINEN SUPPLIED - This includes Doona's, blankets, pillows, sheets, pillow slips, 1 towel each, bathmat(s) and tea towels.  Electric blankets on all beds.

Bathroom:

Bathroom 1 - bath, basin, toilet, heated towel rail which over looks the stunning gardens.

Bathroom 2 - shower, vanity and toilet.

Lounge Room:

Three x 2 seater sofa's, TV, DVD with surround sound, large windows overlooking garden, slow combustion wood fireplace, side tables, lamps coffee table and gas heater.

Kitchen:

Wonderful country style farmhouse kitchen, fully equipped with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, small microwave, gas stove, kettle, toaster, gas heater and all cutlery and crockery etc.  There is a second fridge in the laundry.

Washing machine, dryer, laundry tub, ironing facilities, outdoor clothes line and fridge.
